Why treat the transformers?
During the operation of the transformer, oil undergoes electric arcs, which combined with the rise in temperature, product chemical reactions generating an aggression on the internal components of the transformer. This internal decomposition produced water by the decomposition of the celluloses (paper, wood and paperboards). This water thus produced degrades the dielectric strenght of oil being able to involve short circuits to see irreversible for the transformer.
